FAQ (That no one asked)
I’m guessing that if you’re on this page, you’ve read my little biography bit on the about me page (if not, start there) and want to know more. Well I’m happy to help.
Isn’t Charlie a boys’ name?
Apparently it’s unisex, but take it up with my parents.
So, what do you do?
Job-wise, I work in a toy shop. I’ve been there since September and it’s pretty great. The people are lovely, the work isn’t too difficult and I get a heads up on the new Lego coming out.
In my free time, I write this blog. I’m also part of young people’s groups at museums in Brighton and London. It means I get to travel around and explore galleries and exhibitions, as well as getting a behind the scenes look at what goes on.
What qualifies you to be a blogger?
Um well I have the time, the desire to write and the knowledge to set up a wordpress account.
If you mean my education, I left school with good GCSE grades and 3 A-levels (photography, psychology and ICT, if you want to be really nosey). I undertook a yearlong course in media communications which sparkled my interest for the subject and in September I’ll be starting a degree in Media Studies.
Anything else I should know?
I suffer from dyslexia and although it’s frustrating it hasn’t changed my love for words. It also affects other things like my sense of direction, my concentration and my confidence, but I’m learning to live with it.
What about social media?
I’m glad you asked. You can find me on twitter here: @snowy_773 and Instagram here: @snowball_charlie . I’m also starting to make YouTube videos if that takes your fancy (watch me here).
Can we be friends?
Sure! Comment introducing yourself. Tweet me. Follow me on Instagram.
I’ve got an opportunity for you, how can I contact you?
Email firstname.lastname@example.org with Blogging Opportunity in the subject line and I’ll get back to you.
Where should I start with your blog?
Here’s a few of my favourites:
