Today is A-level results day for parts of the UK, and students will be finding out if all their hard work paid off.
Luckily for me, I have my results, but I still remember the nerves of opening that envolope and staring at the piece of paper surrounded by people in tears; some of joy, some of sadness.
What I want to say is that your worth and your potential are not defined by what’s on that bit of paper. If you did well, congratulations, if not better luck next time. Because there will be a next time. Maybe in the form of resits, or doing another course. Maybe you’ll change paths completely.
Whatever happens, you should be proud of yourself for getting this far.
