My not-yet-life-threatening addiction to…. Buying Books

There is something about a brand new, untouched, unread book that gets my heart racing. The very thought of opening it up to the first page and getting lost in this new world is enough to get my fingers itching for more.

There’s just one problem with all of this: I buy more books than I can read. A lot more.

Since Christmas, there’s been a pile of books waiting to be loved, and it keeps on growing. I’m a sucker for deals- BOGOF, two for the price of one, two for however much- and things are getting out of control.

I’m running out of space to put them all and money to keep buying them with. It is a serious problem, and something’s got to be done.

I just don’t know what.

Is this something you’ve suffered with? What do you do with your old books? Is there a cure?

If you have any ideas, please let me know – I’m desperate.
